Our Story

80 Proof Unlimited is all about being working class making a “Blue Collar” living, the physical, mental and emotional wins and losses. There are so many versions of a blue collar living, we are all different in how we see and react to things in work and life. The struggles of making enough money to have the life we want never really end, there’s always something else taking, using or needing, so we find our own ways to suck it up and get shit done.

My brother and I were raised blue collar, we were taught many different skills at an early age. Our dad was a doer, how to and why was all in the explanation of do it, do it right. In our mid teens it was game on for real life. 80 Proof Unlimited came about from our first name initials, A and D, it quickly from a label on a bottle became 80 Proof, the unlimited is just hopes and dreams. Our designs are based on our work life, little pieces of experiences sprinkled with emotions, mental irregularities and bad habits.

I would like to have an area for people to request possible combinations of designs, special sizes, I want to cater to a certain extent for large/tall needs. For all the men's t-shirts I will have heavy cotton and dry fit (light synthetics), the worked wear is whatever it is for the material, women's will be a poly cotton blend with V neck or swoop. I want to stick to black, white, grey for the t-shirts but will add different colors if requested enough. I still want to be able to display the "This is what we got" type of store. Blue collar, trade based, work ethic pride. I have hats that again I will need to show what we have in stock.

Being blue collar isn’t just about getting dirty, it’s about taking pride in what you are doing, even if you don’t like it. We are all fighting or hiding from our own demons. Stay strong, go to work, and be bad ass!
